How to make Windows discoverable
Warning: this option has been removed from the newest Windows versions.
Check the Windows Firewall options instead, and also your Antivirus settings if you have one.
To make your PC discoverable, follow these steps:
Step 1 – Open the Wi-Fi settings
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard. If your keyboard doesn’t have a Windows key, press the Control (Ctrl) and Escape (Esc) keys on your keyboard.
- Type “Change Wi-Fi settings” and press the ENTER key
Step 2 – Select Manage known networks
Step 3 – Open the network properties
Step 4 – Turn on the switch under Make this PC discoverable

PC was detected, but still cannot connection
Most likely you have some antivirus software blocking the server. Try to add the executable to the exceptions list.
