What Information is Collected?

Barcode to PC app uses your smartphone camera to scan barcodes and transmits them to your computer.
Barcode to PC app sets up a direct connection between your computer and your smartphone device. As you enable specific app features data such as Images and Location is collected and transmitted to your computer for the real-time syncronization feature.

Images

By default Barcode to PC app usese your smartphone camera soleley to scan and decode barcodes. However, when enabling the IMAGE component option, the app will collect images from your smartphone camera and transmit them to your computer through the local network (LAN). The images are processed and stored on your smartphone and then transmitted and stored to your computer as well. The images are not trasmitted or stored on our servers.

Location

When enabling the LOCATION component option, the app will collect location data from your smartphone and transmit it to your computer through the local network (LAN). The location data is not stored on your devices and is not trasmitted to our servers.

What information is Shared

Barcode to PC app does not share any personal data collected with third parties. The data is transmitted only between your smartphone and your computer through the local network (LAN).

Barcode to PC shares anonymous usage data with third-party services such as Google Analytics and Firebase. This data is used to improve the app and the user experience.

Data Retention

We do not retain ANY personal or sensitive user data on our servers. The data is transmitted only between your smartphone and your computer through the local network (LAN) and is not stored on our servers.
