AWESOME! Exactly what I've been looking for. I developed a MS Access app for PC and needed an easy way to get bar codes in the database. You could even include keyboard commands during scanning to move the cursor around fields, etc.

Does it work without a cable? Yes, the only requirement is that the smartphone is connected to the same network of the computer (LAN).

How many smartphones can I connect?
As many as you want, most of the times the bottleneck is the Wi-Fi Access Point.

Can I use it without a Wi-Fi network?
Yes, you can scan offline and sync the app with the server later by tapping the Sync button.
